20.2.1 |
Today we announced DaVinci Resolve 20.2.1, which includes improvements to the paste attributes dialog by retaining user selections across copies. This makes it easier to standardize specific settings such as retime or scaling and quickly apply these settings across multiple clips without the risk of overwriting other attributes.
Editing is also more consistent, with ripple actions now respecting sync lock state, while trim and extend edits have been updated to match the 1 second rules for J and L edits, improving consistency when adjusting clips. In addition, inserts from timelines using in and out points now correctly follow source to timeline track mapping, reducing manual adjustments and improving efficiency.
In addition, animation performance is improved in USD Replace Material and Film Look Creator, which now correctly respond to animation changes made in upstream source tools. This release also addresses decode issues in some Apple ProRes RAW clips and Sony ARW files.
